New Bagels and Brownies from Canyon Bakehouse!
Canyon Bakehouse has some of the best GF bakery products out there. You may remember my review of their bread awhile back (if not, see it here). So I was super excited when Canyon Bakehouse reached out to me asking if I wanted to try their new bagels and brownies before the official release. Of course I said yes!
The new products include two types of bagels, Everything and Plain, and Brownie Bites. My expectations were very high for all three since Canyon Bakehouse has such great products. I was not disappointed, they were all very good! Read on for more detail on each.
Back to School with Canyon Bakehouse
Having a child with a food allergy is hard enough, but what about when it comes to bringing food to school? Not very many schools offer allergy-friendly lunch options, and even if your school does have options, can you trust that there is no cross-contamination? Packing a lunch doesn't have to be a challenge, especially when there are many great nutritious gluten free options out there.
Red Apple Lipstick: The Lash Project Mascara
If you've spent any time on my blog or my social media sites, you already know how much I love Red Apple Lipstick and their gluten free products. I really can't express enough how awesome their lipsticks, glosses and eyeshadows are! In fact, I'm so addicted that I became a RAL affiliate. Needless to say, I was absolutely DELIGHTED when I learned that RAL would be coming out with a gluten-free and chemical-free mascara. I was even more stoked when I was asked to try it out before it's official release date (July 31st).
Gimbal's Jelly Bean Review & Giveaway
In case you need an excuse to enjoy sweets, June is National Candy Month! As such, I was given the opportunity to sample and review some products from Gimbal's Fine Candies. I had never heard of them before, but since I love trying new gluten free products, I definitely was excited to see what Gimbal's was all about.
Ian's Natural Foods Review and Giveaway
As many of you can attest to, 'gluten free', 'delicious' and 'convenient' do not often end up in the same sentence. Many companies have come out with foods that meet this and are gluten free, however, it is rare to find a product that doesn't also contain all sorts of bad-for-you ingredients too. There are a few brands and products out there though that have been able to achieve this, and Ian's Natural Foods is one of them.
Grab the Gold Review and Giveaway
While at the Chicago GFAF Expo this past April, I had the wonderful opportunity to sample so many wonderful products. One of those was Grab the Gold snack bars. These tasty little bars are loaded with protein, fiber and better-for-you ingredients. They're great for on-the-go or when you need a snack that will give you a boost.
Zemas Madhouse Foods Review & Giveaway
One of my favorite things to try is gluten free pancake mixes. The only very good pancakes i have ever had have been homemade, which are not too difficult to make, but I like the simplicity of mixes. So whenever I come across a GF mix I haven't seen before, I have to get it and try it.
While at the Chicago GFAF Expo this past April, I was able to sample some Zemas Madhouse Foods products. I enjoyed their offerings and was excited to be given the opportunity to do a review for them! I received a mix of Zemas Cocoa Teff Pancake and Waffle Mix, which couldn't be more perfect since I love trying out new pancake mixes.
Chicago GFAF Expo 2014 in Review
I had every intention of posting this the week after the expo, however, I came back to busy season in full-swing at work and time managed to get away from me. I apologize for the delay, but hey, better late than never right?
You may remember me posting about attending the Gluten Free and Allergy Free Expo in Chicago as a part of the Official Blogger Team a few weeks back. I have to say, what a weekend!
Red Apple Lipstick Review & Giveaway
I have to admit, I have never been very sensitive about whether or not my skin care and beauty products contain gluten. I mean, I make sure that anything that goes on my lips is gluten-free, but beyond that, I've never seemed to have any issues. I do read all the labels on the products I use, and I know that my make-up and lotions are gluten free, but my hair products contain wheat amino acids. But honestly, as long as I don't chew on my hair I have never had an issue.
