Lazy Gluten Free: Thanksgiving & An Amazon Gift Card Giveaway

Thanksgiving & An Amazon Gift Card Giveaway

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving (or Friendsgiving)! I know I did. Thanksgiving is one of my top favorite holidays (next to Christmas). I love spending time with family and friends, sharing food and laughter. There's just nothing better than a warm house filled with those you love most. Udi's also helped us out by providing a wonderful ensemble of their products as well as a brining kit (which was amazing by the way). They sent me a lot of my favorites, so needless to say, we ate very well!

I was fortunate enough to have two feasts this year. My husband and I hosted a Friendsgiving with 12 of our closest friends. Everyone brought a dish to pass and we made the turkey. I was fairly nervous about this since it was my first time making a turkey and we picked out a 20 pound bird. I have to say, it turned out fantastic (I followed The Kitchn's guide here: How to Cook a Turkey).

Although I was the only one GF, several of my friends insisted on bringing a gluten-free dish, so everyone ate very well. Our spread ranged from cheesy mashed potatoes to my Cranberry-Apple relish, from candied yams to a GF green bean casserole and everything in between.

My family's Thanksgiving is always a great time. Dad taking charge of the turkey, and the rest of us getting in the way trying to help. We make a feast for way more than what the five of us can handle, but hey, who doesn't love leftovers?

This year was a little unique in that we added a few new dishes such as my Stuffing with Udi's Mighty Bagles and we brined the turkey, which we had never done before. Everything turned out so good, and of course, we were stuffed beyond all reason.

Now that the feasting is over and presumably we all have some leftover turkey, I want to help you with your holiday shopping if you share your favorite way to use leftover turkey with me!

Leave a comment below of your favorite dish using leftover turkey (plus the recipe or link if you wish, not required) for your chance to win a $30 Amazon Gift Card! Make sure to confirm your entry through the Rafflecopter Widget (below). You have until December 6, 2013 at 11:59pm to submit your dish.

I can't wait to hear the ways you use your leftover turkey! Good luck!

Congrats to Kelly for winning the Amazon.com gift card!
Thank you to everyone who entered. Keep checking back for future giveaways!
