When I started Lazy Gluten Free in the summer of 2012, I honestly had no idea what to expect. I was super nervous about sharing my life in such a public space and I was scared about what people would think. I remember shaking as I was about to publish my first post, simply because of nerves.
Flash forward two years - my blog has now grown beyond what I ever dreamed it would be. I've learned a lot about myself, and more importantly, I've learned a lot about you. My favorite part of this journey has been the opportunity it's given me to meet some really awesome people and hear their gluten free stories. It's truly empowering to be a part of such an amazing community.

Now that I've got two years under my gluten free apron, I feel that I have more of a routine down and I am a little bit more adventurous in my posts. Do I still get nervous before posting? Actually, yes. As somewhat of an introvert, I am always a little scared of what people will think of me. But overwhelmingly, I get positive feedback on my content, so that keeps me going.
In recent months, I have begun to focus more on photo quality and making sure that the recipes I post actually look as good as they taste. I think what I'm most proud of is how much I've learned and have been able to apply to producing better content. I actually am kind of embarrassed about my old pictures, but hey, I had to start somewhere. As with anything, I have a lot more to learn and I look forward to the challenges ahead.
Much improved in 2014, but still plenty to learn! |
I just want to say thank YOU for being a part of this journey with me. I really can't do this without you. Your encouragement, support and feedback is what keeps me going. I hope you enjoy reading and participating in my blog as much as I love sharing it with you. Here's to many more great years to come :)
